Air Fresheners
These wonderful air fresheners are perfect for giving together as part of a gift basket, or individually as samples, door-prizes, or party favors.
Instructions:
1. Mix 30 drops (about 1.5 ml) of your favorite essential oil or blend
(or try one of our special springtime or holiday scent ideas below) to 1
oz. of distilled water in a 1 oz spray bottle
2. Create a gift tag/label that tells the recipient how to use the bottle of air freshener, and the contents of the bottle i.e.
"Eternal Noel : Contains 100% essential oils and water. Eternal Noel captures the spirit and festivity of the holiday season with its spicy blend. Orange warms the soul, while tangerine, pine needle, and patchouli oils cheer the mind. The sweet-spicy scent of clove bud mingled with cinnamon bark and fennel produce a flavorful fragrance sure to enliven the holiday spirit. Frankincense uplifts the mind and peppermint refreshes the senses.
You can also use these tags to write "To: " and "From: " information. Create your own unique tag
3. Use ribbon, string, yarn, raffia, or pipe cleaner to tie your tag to
the neck of the bottle.
4. To use the air freshener, shake well, and mist into the air as
needed.
Springtime Scent Ideas
Fresh: Mix 15 drops lavender, 10 drops geranium, and 5 drops Roman
chamomile with 1 oz. pure, distilled water.

Your favorite essential oil
Instructions:

Divide the epsom salt and/or sea salt into equal portions (approximately 1/2 cup). This is enough for one bath

Place each portion into a zip lock bag (or other suitable mixing container)

Add Essential Oils, 5-6 drops of oil per portion (1/2 cup)
-
Mix well by shaking
-
Pour into Small decorative gift bags -

Shoe Bags
Shoe fresheners can be made very easily by using essential oils with dried leaves. Crush any type of dried leaf, add 2 drops of essential oil to each handful of leaves, mix well, cover, and leave to dry. Cedarwood oil is a deodorant and good choice for men who wear sneakers that could sneak off by themselves, while lemon, lemongrass and lavender would be good choices the ladies. Put the leaves into small, pretty cotton bags.
Frankincense and Myrrh Holiday Blend
The blend of Frankincense and Myrrh have a warm, rich, spicy aroma. The below directions are for creating a diffuser blend, but it is also lovely to use with potpourri. It is also a wonderful blend to use for the Scented Greeting Card & Tissue Paper recipe.
Ingredients:
-
5 drops Frankincense
-
5 drops Myrrh
-
5 drops Cedarwood Oil (optional - to lighten the aroma a bit)
-
5-10 drops Orange (optional - to add a sweet, fruity aroma to the blend)
Directions: Add your oils to a 2 ml dark colored glass bottle and mix well by rolling the bottle in between your hands. If you would like to make a larger quantity, multiply the recipe above and add to a larger bottle. Add the appropriate number of drops from your created blend to your diffuser by following the manufacturer’s instructions.
Scented Greeting Cards & Tissue Paper
Scenting your wrapping paper and greeting cards adds a wonderful touch to the holidays or any gift-giving occasion.
Directions: Allow an extra day before writing out your greeting card(s) or wrapping presents. Choose a blend such as the Neways Eternal Noel Blend, Christmas tree blend, Frankincense & Myrrh Blend, your own creation, or a single essential oil.
Put a few drops of the blend onto a cotton ball. Put up to 15 cards and the cotton ball in a large Ziploc bag, close and let it sit for at least 24 hours. You may also have enough room to just put the cotton ball right in with the box.
For tissue paper, follow the same procedure, but place the cotton ball into the plastic package of tissue paper. Be careful not to let the oil come into contact with the paper. Close the bag up so the aroma can properly scent the tissue.
Refrain from giving a scented card or scented tissue-wrapped gift to anyone who has allergies or sensitivities that may be affected by the oils.

Freshen your wallet with Lemon essential oil.
Cleanse, purify and uplift: Before you put the essential items back into your wallet it’s time for a bit of cleansing to remove all the stuck stagnant toxic energy. Leaving it out in the sunshine for a couple of hours works wonders but I find essential oils definitely the best for giving your wallet a whole new fabulous feel. Aromatherapy Inhaler
A homemade inhaler, that is very easy to stick in a pocket or purse is made by simply saving an empty chap stick tube. Wash out with hot soap and water to remove all traces of chap stick and let air dry. Next put a piece of cotton in the inhaler and measure the drops of essential oils for your blend directly on the cotton.
