According to the Poison Control Center in their most recent published report (1999), there are more than two million, two hundred thousand reported cases of exposure to poisonous substances annually. Household and personal care products together are responsible for more than FIVE TIMES THE NUMBER REPORTED FROM PESTICIDES.
