Is there chlorine in chlorine dioxide?
No, there is no free chlorine in chlorine dioxide.  Although chlorine dioxide has the word chlorine in its name, the two chemicals have completely different chemical structures.  The additional oxygen atom radically changes the molecule and creates completely different chemical behaviors and by-products.  Their differences are as profound as those between hydrogen, the explosive gas, and hydrogen combined with oxygen, which creates di-hydrogen oxide -- commonly called water.

Uses for Radicate

  1. PET ACCIDENTS: For pet accidents on rugs or furniture, blots excess wetness and clean as normal. Saturate cleaned area with RADICATE and let dry. For rugs, spray directly on rug or pour Eliminator directly into a carpet-cleaning unit. Use RADICATE as a rinse and let dry. To use as an air freshener, spray area 10-15 minutes to freshen up the heavy deposits before hand. Then spray inside well with RADICATE and let stand 5-10 minutes. Let air-dry for best results.
  2. CAR ODORS: To clean up after stomach upsets, clean up with paper towels and then spray area well with RADICATE. Soiled clothing may also be washed in RADICATE. Also use RADICATE to freshen up stale smoke odors by spraying carpets, headlines, and seats.
  3. SICK ROOM ODORS: To deodorize sick areas, spray all items that come in contact with the patient, such as telephones, food trays, bedding and commode.
  4. VAPORIZERS: Before storing vaporizer, spray and clean with RADICATE. Let air-dry before storing
  5. AIR CONDITIONER FILTERS: After cleaning the filter, spray with RADICATE before reuse. Don’t rinse.
  6. THERMOS BOTTLES: To remove lingering odors, wash out and spray thermos with RADICATE. Let dry.   RADICATE will take away stale tastes and smells.
  7. REFRIGERATOR/FREEZER ODORS: To clean and deodorize your fridge, clean out old, stale food and then spray refrigerator walls, drawers, and shelving with RADICATE.
  8. FRUITS AND VEGETABLES: To keep fruits and vegetables fresher, first wash vegetables or fruits and then spray with RADICATE.
  9. TRASH COMPACTORS: When changing the bag in trash compactors, spray RADICATE generously throughout the garbage collection area. Let dry
  10. CANNING JARS/STORAGE CONTAINERS: To freshen jars and containers, spray with RADICATE and let dry before storing.
  11. PLASTIC JUICE CONTAINERS: Wash well and then spray with RADICATE and let stand for 10 minutes. Then rinse.
  12. TOYS: To keep toys sanitary and clean smelling, spray with RADICATE and let dry.
  13. SHOWER CURTAINS: To keep mildew from accumulating spray curtain generously with RADICATE.
  14. BOAT CUSHIONS/OUTDOOR FURNITURE CUSHIONS: To prevent mildew and eliminate other odors, spray well with RADICATE.
  15. LUGGAGE: To prevent stale packing odors and refresh the interior of all types of luggage and bags, spray with RADICATE.
  16. HEAD ODORS: To eliminate the odor of excessive head perspiration, first wash hair with Ultimate Shampoo, spray head with RADICATE, and then comb through hair.
  17. ONION ODORS: To eliminate odors, spray RADICATE on hands or cutting board and let dry.
  18. POISON IVY / OAK: To soothe itching, spray chilled RADICATE onto affected areas.
  19. TOILETS/BATHROOMS: For maximum disinfecting power, spray RADICATE on walls and floor around toilet and bowl. Also may be sprayed on potty-chairs.
  20. FOOT ODOR: After showering, spray feet with RADICATE and let dry. Also spray the inside of shoes and let dry.
  21. TEA POTS: To refresh your favorite tea pot, spray with RADICATE and let stand 10 minutes before rinsing.
  22. EARRING POSTS: Dip earring posts and backs in RADICATE to help eliminate infection in pierced ears. Rub on pierced ears to help control infection.
  23. STAINS & ODORS: Spray RADICATE on carpets, rugs, couches, interior of vehicles, clothes, etc. to help remove stains & odors.
