Unreasonable
RISK by Samuel E. Epstein, M.D. How to Avoid Cancer from Cosmetics and
Personal Care Products:
The Neways Story
This book explains how to
recognize carcinogens on product labels, boycott such products, and
shop for safe alternatives from non-mainstream industries and thus
reduce your avoidable risks of cancer. This is critical as we
are losing the winnable war against cancer, which now strikes one in
two men and one in three women in their lifetimes

Bee Pollen

Your
diet may not be giving you all the nutrients you need. Many foods
available today are processed and contain synthetic ingredients that
aren’t good for you. Fresh produce is most often picked before it’s
ripe, compromising its potential for nutrient delivery. It’s just tough
to know what you’re actually getting.
But
nature does have a perfect food: bee pollen. Far different from the
windborne pollens responsible for most pollen allergies, bee pollen is
heavy, sticky, and rich with nutrients. This precious substance supports
the immune system while promoting antioxidant protection.*

KEY
INGREDIENT
Pollen is a very fine microspore from the male
flower that allows the female flower to produce seed or fruit once it
has been pollinated. Some pollen is lightweight and dry and is spread by
the wind. Other pollen is heavy and sticky and attaches to visiting
insects (like bees), which carry it from the male to the female flower.
Bee Pollen comes from the male flower and is of the heavy, sticky
variety.
Bee Pollen contains vitamins from A to K, a
complete spectrum of amino acids, 25 trace minerals including all the
essential minerals, and beneficial pigments like phytocyanin. Pollen is
uniformly rich in carotenoids, bioflavonoids and phytosterols. Beta
carotene, lycopene, beta sitosterol, quercetin, isorhamnetin, kaempferol,
and rutin may also be found in Bee Pollen.
Rutin is a bioflavonoid that helps support normal
heart and circulatory function.
