Chamomile, Roman

(Anthemis nobilis)
For soothing and healing properties. It is good to use for headaches, insomnia, and irritability.

When someone feels morose, grumpy, discontented, or impatient, chamomile is a good remedy.  It is beneficial for people who feel short-tempered, self-involved, overly sensitive, or rarely satisfied.   Chamomile is very helpful for women with irregular periods and PMS, when used as a bath oil.  For abdominal pain; gallbladder, ear, and throat infection, and for children suffering from colic, moist warm or hot compresses assist healing.
Chamomile (Roman) promotes healthy skin, immune system and digestive function.   Enhances overall feelings of calm and relaxation. It helps calm the mind and body during times of physical and emotional stress. It is one of the oldest British medicinal and beauty herbs. It has been used most successfully to make blonde hair blonder, and as a tea to treat insomniacs. Relax sore, overworked muscles or inflamed joints with a calming massage of Roman Chamomile and Mixing Oil or Tangible Massage Lotion, or contribute to the soothing of digestive upsets by massaging the mixture into the stomach in a clockwise direction.
